March Musings 2021
March 31, 2021
In these kinds of blog posts, I talk about what I’ve been up to for the month. The topics may include design work, hobbies, and more. At the end, I include the top five songs I listened to for any fellow music lovers out there.
An Obsession with Bubble Tea
I did not do much during the month of March except for continuing with my job search. During the pandemic, I have gotten my family hooked onto bubble tea. It has gotten to the point where we need to learn how to make it at home. It would most likely be a lot cheaper that way too. Me and my dad go to Sencha every other week to get the iced Royal Tea Latte and Thai Tea Latte.
We tried a new place called Ding Tea on University Avenue. It was a bit more expensive and out of our way; however, we wanted to try it. I would rate it 6/10. The taste was okay, but it was just expensive and far from our home. It is not worth it to me if it doesn’t taste amazing. Another place we have gone to is Hawaii Poké Bowl in Richfield. We both get the same drinks that we would get at Sencha and it’s pretty good overall.
Wedding Bells
A childhood friend of mine got married at the end of March. An immediate family member of mine is vulnerable to coronavirus, but we still attended and kept our distance from other people. It was a really small wedding because of coronavirus. There were probably only 15 people total. My friend got married to a man she met overseas when she studied abroad so it was a very special occasion. I also had the chance to greet them at the airport when they finally got a visa approved for her husband. It was an honor to be there in these pandemic times. I am excited for them as they start their lives together. I hope to be the one of the cool “aunts” when they decide to start a family together.
